The dramatic upcycles and downcycles in the freight transportation business have highlighted a fact: most freight transportation contracts are scarcely worth the paper that they’re written on. A system that does not work well for either side cries out for innovation.​

To restore honor to the contract process, contracts need to allow for a haggle-free exchange in which rates can be reset by formula. To create fairness for all involved, Sterling’s Dynamic Contracts are structured to allow rates to be adjusted during the contract term, not just upon contract renewal. ​
