TO PROTECT OUR STAFF, DRIVERS AND SHIPPERS
We are doing our part to help slow the spread of Coronavirus
while continuing to serve our Central Oregon communities.
Effective March 2020,
we modified our corporate work environment
to protect our team and our clients
by closing our office lobby to visitors.
We also modified our driver and equipment maintenance requirements.
CORPORATE STAFF
We have implemented a company-wide, self-distancing policy for all drivers including avoidance of standard greetings that require physical contact such as shaking hands.
We promote the practice of cough/sneezing etiquette (always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or coughing and sneezing into your shirt sleeve at the inside of your elbow).
To minimize face-to-face contact with office/maintenance staff, we are encouraging the use of text messaging, personal mobile phones, and satellite for communication. Our corporate team works remotely and in the office through a series of rotating schedules.
We want to ensure that our staff, drivers, and shippers stay healthy during this unprecedented time. Thanks for your help keeping our drivers safe and, on the road, delivering America!
DRIVERS
Our drivers wear masks and sanitary gloves, hand sanitizers are used in trucks and all trucks are washed out after each load is delivered.
We require all drivers, as part of their post-trip inspection, to wipe down all shared spaces with a disinfecting agent including the steering wheel, dashboard, radio, door handles and gear shift.
Our drivers are asked to stay in the truck as much as possible, increase hand washing, and avoid unnecessary public establishments and mass gatherings unless approved by the dispatcher.
Where possible, drivers are asked to stock their own food and water to minimize the need to stop at stores or restaurants.
We ask all drivers to source COVID-19 information from credible sources such as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
EQUIPMENT
Trailers are washed out and disinfected between loads.
PICK UPS & DELIVERIES
Our dedicated team is handling additional tasks related to Coronavirus compliance on the road, in the shop and at the office while continuing to maintain our on-time pick up and delivery schedules. We are proud of each one of them for their contributions and ability to adapt to the changing circumstances.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
We encourage everyone to respect six feet social distancing while our drivers are loading and unloading your shipment.
PATIENCE
We ask for patience as these procedures are new to staff and customers alike. Wait times may be longer than normal as we invest additional time to ensure human health, as well as acclimate our business to changes to volume and staffing requirements.
CONTACTING US
Our team is handling additional tasks related to Coronavirus compliance so there may be longer than average wait times to speak to a staff member. Thank you for your patience.
